what is it?
You bring your team to the Peak District for a day. Peak Events run the whole thing, from the planning to the instructors to the kit. You stay the night at Bike & Boot, a 60 room hotel five minutes down the road, with dinner and breakfast included. E-Marketing film the day and give you the edit afterwards.
Three businesses. One package.
Everything below is included, and it is all arranged for you.

A day out that isn’t a corporate day
Peak Events have been running team days in the Peak District for over eighteen years, for teams at BP, JLR, the BBC, Red Bull, the NHS and plenty of smaller businesses. Real activities on real hills, planned and run entirely by their instructors. No flipcharts, no trust falls, and nothing that needs anyone to be fit.

A night somewhere your team will actually enjoy
Bike & Boot is a 60 room hotel in the Hope Valley, five minutes from where the day happens. Dinner together, a proper breakfast, and a bar you can take over. Dogs are welcome. It is rated 9.4 out of 10 by guests and was named in the Sunday Times Best Places to Stay in 2024.

What twenty four hours looks like.
Most teams spend the whole year on calls and never in the same room. A day like this is the one time everyone actually talks to each other, and the evening afterwards is the bit that makes it stick. People come back knowing the people they work with, which is the entire point.
09:30
Arrive
Free parking, or step off the train at Bamford. Coffee’s on, and it’s free all day.
10:00
Brief
Meet your facilitators. No projector, no beige boardroom, no icebreaker anyone will resent.
10:30
Out into it
Your activity for the day, out on the hills. Everything is run for you, nothing needs experience, and it is built so the least outdoorsy person in the team still has a good time.
16:00
Back down
Boots and kit straight into Wadobi for a wash down. Power showers. Cake at four, because we do that.
18:00
Debrief
The conversation that actually changes something, had over a pint in the hotel bar instead of in a follow up email.
20:00
Dinner
One long table. Nobody watching the clock, because nobody’s driving home.
22:00
Optional
Film Club, the bar, or bed. The dogs went up hours ago.
07:30
Breakfast
Then up Win Hill and back down again before anyone has opened a laptop.
10:00
Fresh Air Meeting
The strategy session you’d otherwise have wasted in a meeting room with the blinds down.
The hotel
It is not a conference hotel, and that is deliberate. No airless meeting suite, no carpet tiles.
60 rooms
Enough to take over a floor, or take over the whole place.
Wadobi, the wash down room
A dedicated room for cleaning off muddy boots, bikes and dogs at the end of the day. Nobody’s kit goes home wet in a car boot.
Film Club, the hotel cinema
A private screening room inside the hotel, showing films through the day and evening.
Dogs welcome, and properly
Own beds, treats everywhere, and a dog washing and drying room.
Free as standard
Coffee all day, cake at four, parking and bike storage.
