2020 Tour de Yorkshire
The Tour de Yorkshire first occurred as part of the Grand Départ of the Tour de France in 2014, and we have been celebrating and partaking in it ever since. The race attracts large crowds and lots of local support, so if you’re staying with us between 30th April and 4th May, we encourage you to come down to watch and cheer.
Men’s Tour de Yorkshire race
The 6th edition of the men’s Tour de Yorkshire takes place from Thursday 30 April until Sunday 4 May, and has been upgraded to HC status, meaning that it is the highest category possible for a multi-day race outside of the UCI World Tour. We will update this post as soon as specific routes have been announced, so make sure you check back nearer the time.
Women’s Tour de Yorkshire race
The women’s race will take place on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd May and both stages will be exactly the same as the men’s. Last year’s route was the most difficult with over 3,200m of cumulative climbing, and the longest yet at 264km. We will update this post as soon as specific routes have been announced, so make sure you check back nearer the time.
Stage VIP access and hospitality
There are many different VIP access tickets available which include VIP parking, food, live race viewing, access to the warm up area, and finish line spaces. And with tickets for the VIP ‘start’ hospitality area starting at only £135, we don’t see why you wouldn’t! For more information about VIP access tickets, please visit the main Your de Yorkshire website.
