Cycling Routes

Your cycling holiday in Scarborough wouldn’t be complete without a wheel down the famed Cinder Track.

Go off-road to follow the Yorkshire coastline, all the way from Scarborough to Whitby. Avert your eyes from the peeping builder’s bum of the rider in front of you & gaze at the natural beauty of the North York Moors National Park & the villages of Ravenscar, Robin Hoods Bay & more.

If you don’t want to risk the potential saddle sores of a longer ride (pah!), then there are loads of shorter routes in & around Scarbados. Set off from Scarborough’s South Bay & take a tour of the town, or venture amongst the moors.

Refuel your belly

At the end of a long day of peddling, park your bike up in the Wadobi & head straight for one of life’s biggest pleasures – FOOD.

Put your smelly trotters up (not literally please, we have enough cheese dishes as it is) & replenish yourself at our hotel’s Bareca (bar-restaurant-café). We also serve brekkie in the morning, so you can fill your tum before your adventure.

There are tons of places to pitstop during your ride if you start to hear grumbling & it isn’t your belly after 10 free morning coffees at the hotel. A favourite café of ours is Ravenscar Tearooms, which is just off the Cinder Track. Here you can grab a scone & a mug of the best tea in the world – Yorkshire Tea,

World champion trials bike rider Jack Carthy takes cycling to a whole new level.
